This parish consists of 20 townlands. Chiefly arable inclusive of Ballinruagh Demesne. The road from Loughrea to Kiltormer[Unable to read.] [Unable to read.] throug it - it contains a [Unable to read.] [Unable to read.] a Roman Catholic Chapel and a grave yard attached also a Danish fort in which persons [Unable to read.] and a grave yard for children - there is a school held in the chapel attended by 80 males and [Unable to read.] females.
Bounded on the North by the parish of Killalaghtan in the Baronies of Kilconnil and Cloonmacnoon[Unable to read.], East by Kiltormer, South by Abbeygormican and West by Abbeygormican and Barony of Athenry. A portion of this parish is detached mainly the townland of [unable to read]. Bounded North by the parish of Kilreekil and Killaghtan the latter in the Barony of Clonmacnoon [unable to read]. East and south by Abbeygormican and West by Kilreekill.
